Summer Saturday Free Lunch Program for Kids Starts Again on June 8th

Uncategorized
School is almost out and summer is just around the corner. While most kids in our area look forward to warm days of splashing in the lake, riding their bikes or playing in the park, some local children face a challenge. What to eat? Twice Blessed

Uncategorized

In September 2018, we used a $2500 grant from Kootenai Electric Trust to purchase a storage trailer for our community meal supplies.  The mayor of Spirit Lake is graciously allowing us to store the trailer in the Spirit Lake Senior and Community Center parking lot.  The Center is the facility in which we host the weekly meal. Until we had this trailer, our Executive Director, Amy Privitt, had to store the supplies for the community meal (paper/plastic products,…

What We’ve Been Up To

News
Most of us meet every Tuesday for Cup of Grace’s community meal, but did you know that our organization goes beyond that? We are a small group of volunteers trying to make a difference in our community. The community meals have been a great way to bring neighbors in Spirit Lake together, and we have more in store for you, such as a weekend lunch program for youth in town to supplement what they receive during the week.
