Cup of Grace volunteers have been busy preparing Lakeland schools for the winter and have started their annual Warm Clothes, Warm Hearts clothing drive to help keep school closets stocked throughout winter.
Winter clothes for all Lakeland School District Students
Any student, regardless of need, can go to the school clothing closet before school or at lunchtime to get free warm winter clothes. Students can pick from:
- Coats
- Pants
- Socks
- Snow boots
- Snow pants
- New underwear
- Long-sleeve t-shirts
- Waterproof gloves

Donations drop-off locations
The closets are stocked, but Cup of Grace runs the drive to keep enough clothes and footwear in various sizes. Winter clothing donations will be collected from October 1—December 20 at the following locations:
- First Interstate Bank
- Brickel Creek Coffee
- Spirit Lake City Hall
- Spirit Lake Baptist Church
- Spirit Lake Elementary
- Timberlake Junior High
- Timberlake Senior High
- Betty Kiefer Elementary
- Athol Elementary
- John Brown Elementary
