Since the onset of COVID-19, it became clear to us that some needs in the community were not being addressed. Needs as varied as someone to go grocery shopping during a quarantine or short-term assistance with gas to get back to a job; others needed specific items such as car batteries, a household or medical item or clothing for their whole family. And thus our Family Assistance program was born. We bridge the gap between families having to go without necessary items and having to apply for social services or long-term aid.
The purpose of this program is to provide emergency or short-term assistance to those finding themselves in a tight spot. If you or your family has a need, please contact Amy at 817-228-5018.
If you have a long-term need, please visit our Area Resources page to find more resources right here in Spirit Lake.
