How did you learn about Cup of Grace?
From my friends Moose and Ruthie Sawley.
What drew you to volunteer?
I have a heart for it and I wanted to do service work right here in our community. This is a wonderful program to be a part of.
How long have you volunteered with Cup of Grace, and what do you do?
Since February. I cook and prepare food and serve food.
What is your favorite part of volunteering with Cup of Grace? Do you have a favorite story to share?
Being part of a Christian ministry. Helping feed our community and meeting such wonderful people. Good way to know my new community.
What do you like to do when you are NOT volunteering at Cup of Grace? Do you have any favorite hobbies, activities, etc.?
Work at Phoebe’s Place, work as an advocate, read, take care of my grandchildren on Wednesdays. I am very active in A.A. I like to garden.
Do you have a favorite scripture or quote that you would like to share with us?
Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
